Freya Darling started pretty unintentionally.

Freya and I are always out - walks, errands, camping trips, weekend things - and I liked the idea of us matching a little. Not in an over-the-top way, just something subtle that looked nice day to day.

The problem was, everything I found felt either super functional or overly cutesy. Nothing really hit that middle ground of being both practical and actually nice to wear.

So I started making a few things myself.

At first it was just for us: scrunchies, bows, little pieces that matched without trying too hard. Then at a New Year’s Eve party, someone asked where I got my set.

I told them I made it. And then they asked if they could buy one. That was kind of the moment.

Freya Darling is really just an extension of that. simple, wearable pieces that are made to match, but still feel like something you’d actually want to wear every day.
